hands on/hands off
Sometimes, to move things forward in a company, there needs to be someone who can go in, hit the ground running, highlight and drive latent value forward to ensure that the stakeholders benefit. An Interim Managing Director can usually do that. Sometimes it just takes somebody else to look at a situation in a different light. To see things that, in some cases, are too obvious. To challenge existing views and ways of doing things. To suggest a different way forward. A Non Executive Director or Mentor might help. Our experiences include both hands on and hands off situations. Managing Director or Mentor . Companies and organisations have to balance corporate governance and social responsibility with an entrepreneurial spirit that can galvanise the passion and vision that will drive it towards a goal that allows all stakeholders to be rewarded.
